About Us
Based in the beautiful Rhondda Valley of South Wales, Jay and Mel are a husband and wife photography team. With forty years of combined experience, their complementing styles of photography mean your photographs can be as traditional or as unconventional as you like.
| Following her early success as Runner-Up Young Photographer of the Year in 1990, Mel has honed her art with traditional darkroom and studio training, together with on-the-job experience of weddings, birthday and christening celebrations. She has also accumulated many tricks of the trade from time spent in professional studios when her young son was a photographic model for several major household names. Mel uses state of the art digital equipment together with the know-how gained from years of doing it the good old-fashioned way! |

Jay has had many of his photographs published alongside his writing in several motorcycling magazines, and specializes in candid, reportage style photography. Capturing the one-off shots that nobody else would think of means he can immortalize the giggle of the child who thinks nobody is looking; the tender look between lovers or the contemplative face of your Grandad in a quiet moment at a family event. Jay is also equally at home using film or digital technology - whatever is most appropriate for the occasion. |
